I drive 30 miles in hilly country to work, then haul dirt, rock, firewood or ATV on the weekends and this truck is always ready to go. Ive hauled 2,000 lbs. of topsoil, well-beyond the trucks capacity, up the mountains to home and the engine hardly worked. I just clocked 30k miles and theres no rattles, no squeaks. My mom-in-law was very surprised at the ride quality both on road on on our mile of dirt road to our house when she was visiting. This truck has done it all for me and its only asked for good, regular oil changes and its always gotten 17.5 mpg no matter what I do. Im very very happy with this truck.

After owning it for 8 yrs and 172000 miles who can argue its reliability. It still gets 18mpg with 4.8 v8. Have not done front brakes but did do back. 4 years ago flipped it at 65mph with family in it, no one even got a scratch. Glad ins decided to fix it. All I do is put gas in it and change the oil. Got 75000 miles out of original tires. Only on 3rd set of tires only been aligned 2 times.

My truck has been very reliable. 5.3 sounds great with dual exhaust. sunset metallic orange is a great color. dodges and fords orange looks like crap. the auto trac kicks butt. you wont find a more controlled ride in the snow and ice

My 9 mo. old 01 LT has a few issues Id like to address. 1) Fix the ABS. It kicks in too early and too often. 2) The lower-lubar area on the leather buckets needs better long term comfort (4+ hours). 3) Some fit-and-finish details. Too many small rattles. 4) The 5.3L is powerful, but seems lacking in the low-end with the 3.73 ratio. If youre buying a truck to haul, tow, or go off-road with, pick the 4.10. Youll thank me later. Otherwise a solid, capable truck. Yes, Id buy another one.

I bought this truck used with 20K miles on it. To date Ive put 7300 miles on it and it has been a super vehicle. (If youre looking to get 45 MPG youre looking at the wrong vehicle!) Compared with Ford and Dodge power and mileage is great. Im averaging 17 around town and about 20 on interstates. To date Ive had no problems and only spent for maintenance items on the vehicle. I would buy another!

I love the truck, but there are lots of drivetrain problems. Three recalls ,sqealing parking brake is the worst, two rear differentials, and three comeplete clutches, all in the first four months. Still a good truck all in all.

This is the most powerful truck Ive ever owned! Chassis is also the stiffest as well. Much better than my 03 F150 which I got rid of after 7 months for the 01 Chev. Ive had problems with the A/C, got those fixed, also the annoying cold start knock, quiets down after warming up (recommend full-synthetic oil to quiet down). Tie rods and steering system needed fixing at 70,000 miles (very expensive without warranty).

I purchased my truck 2 1/2 years ago and have been reasonably impressed. Not great accleration or mind blowing power, but a good solid pull. I work it hard everyday and so far it has stood the test of time. Had a few minor problems but overall a good truck

bought this truck off ebay 6/03 for $9,750 with only 10,500 (16,000 today 1/25/04) miles on it. a/c switch and anti-freeze switch went out but was replaced under warranty. go with light color that doesnt show scratches. use the wal mart rubber mat in the back for flexibility and if you get in an accident the rhino lining spray on bed liners ruin the bed. paid $3000 down and $206 a month for 3 years. cant beat this deal!!!
